Top location, classic inspiration, and ultra modernisation – that is the essence of this highly successful project that’s bound to linger long in our memories…

The location of this site was definitely thrilling for us – an uber trendy residential enclave right in the heart of Orchard Road.

We picked up the thematic inspiration from the location, ie: the Conservatory part and the fact that the rare original structure was built in an era very few of us in Singapore are lucky enough to experience in any trace of present residential architecture.

We not only retained but further elaborated the 1960’s characteristic charm, borrowing ever so graciously from the Colonial Black and White bungalows of yesteryear. However we did this in a modern avatar in which all design lines are contemporary! Sleek, clean finishes to all counter, doors, panels and steps. This contrasted aesthetically well against the Colonial back drop.

Our signature “light well” added that extra dimension of illumination and freshness making the entire place come alive in an almost ethereal way. Piercing right through the very centre of this magnificent terrace home, our “light well” concept never looked or worked better.

This classic remake is by far one of our most rewarding achievements and the first of many more to come… unquestionably!
